WORKS

I begun to work as a professional photographic artist in the late 90’s. My work often explores society and the ways we perceive it. Even though I rarely photograph people, they’re always at the center of my images — their motives, actions, and emotions. I am interested in on how our personal experiences, over time, become something shared and universal. As a photographic artist, I navigate the space where reality, image, and imagination meet by selecting specific themes and by playing with visible and invisible. The biggest shift in my work today is when I started to paint on my photographs which made them unique.
